Shhh Don’t Talk Too Much At Showings
Sometimes when buyer agents walk through with their buyers at property showings, they start doing this weird thing where they point out all of the deficiencies within the property. I am not sure whether it’s a nervous thing or trying to build a rapport thing, but as someone who is watching this happen, it’s super uncomfortable. Our theory is let the buyers do their thing and take the property in, and then ask questions about any deficiencies afterward.
Give buyers time to process the property. Who knows, they may like it, and you are putting your own personal opinion (not business) into their decision. Sometimes we need to take ourselves out of the scenario and let buyers do their thing. Afterall they are buying the home, not us.
