WHAT’S NEXT?

Coral Gables Florida is one of the most famous and distinguished neighborhoods in Miami.

The Mediterranean Revival style of architecture was first introduced in the US at the end of the 19th Century and reached its height of popularity during the “Roaring Twenties” and thirties. During this time frame, Mediterranean Revival style home construction was used extensively in the coastal areas of both California and Florida.

This style of the home building involved using stucco to finish outside walls along with terra cotta or tiled roofs and dramatic arches to create a look that had only been seen in coastal communities throughout the Mediterranean region. You can find this style of construction being used not only in hotels, office buildings, apartment buildings, and condominiums but also in a wide variety of homes ranging from those priced modesty to many of the most luxurious homes.
