Miami Real Estate Break On Saturday Afternoon 09-16-2017

Good Afternoon! Welcome to this week’s Miami Real Estate Break On Saturday Afternoon.

ATT: If you are out of town and need us to check on your property, please let me know. We are happy to help you, just call me: 305-793-8965.

Last week was definitely a crazy one, but we just want to let you know that we are back up and running. So far we have checked in on all of our property listings and so far no significant damage to report. We have also checked in with our ONE Sotheby’s International Realty office, and most of the properties are checking out to be in good condition. There are of course some downed trees, landscaping clean up and of course, some are still without power/ac. Those last two tend to be the most annoying and tedious.

Cleanup work is moving along quickly, and we expect for things to be back to normal in no time. We are very fortunate to have made it through hurricane Irma safely. However, we are incredibly saddened for those who suffered significant loss due to hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Our friends in the Keys need our help. Please do what you can to contribute to them and let’s help our neighbors to the south.

Miami Real Estate Update

Next week we will get back to our regularly scheduled neighborhood updates. This week, I want to take a pause and let you all know how grateful I am for you and this awesome city we live in today.  I am so proud of how our community pulled together to take care of each other.

A few notes for clients currently listed, those under contract and those about to list:

-If you are under contract now and have had an appraisal, most likely a reinspection is going to be required on the subject property.

-If you are under contract now, expect a few delays and probably extension requests. Pretty much everything shut down for a week or so, now it will take a little time for the vendors to get back up and in order. (Appraisals, reinspections, lending, surveyors, title, etc.) Just be patient, and our team will walk you through it.

-If you are currently listed with us, you may have noticed we removed your signs from the yard. That was for safety reasons during the storm. Signs (on single family homes) will be back out shortly.

-If you need to sell your home within the next few months, let’s get that going asap. If you need a reference of vendors to help with cleanup or listing readiness, let us know, and we will be happy to help you. Call me to discuss the plan of action. 305-793-8965

Now it’s time to get back to work and doing what we love, selling real estate in this gorgeous city!
