Miami Beach Luxury Real EstateRenting out your Miami condo is serious business.  It’s important that you if you are hiring an agent to rent your Miami condo that you hire an agent who is experienced in this process.  As a property owner if you are renting out your property, there are many rules and laws that you need to follow to ensure that you are in compliance with the Florida Landlord-Tenant Act.

Also, don’t forget the essentials for your new tenant. There is nothing worse than waiting to the last minute to find a contractor or vendor to install blinds and lighting fixtures prior to a move in deadline.

Quick Tips for Renting out your Miami Condo and items your new tenant will probably request:

1. Blinds or some type of basic window treatments.

2. Lighting fixture covers.

3. Finished closets.

4. In the bathroom: Toilet Paper holders, Towel Bars

5. A professional cleaning.

6.  Paint touch ups.

Although small details, these are the details that can “set” the relationship with your tenant from the very beginning. I have found that when owners pay attention to these details it creates more of a professional relationship and the tenant is much more respectful of the property. If you are not local hire a property manager to take care of these details for you on an as needed basis so that the unit is well taken care of during the years that you rent out the property.
